He is survived by: his daughters, Shauna (Nick Barton) and Staci (Kevin Williams); his wife Lori Steiner of Rock Island, IL; his grandchildren, Cole, Anna Barton, Klayton and Kameron Williams; his great grandchild Katlyn; his grandson Wes Middleswart of Cedar Rapids, IA; his great grandchild Maddox Middleswart; his stepson Ryan (Kelly Warner); his stepgrandson Jack Warner; and his stepson Tanner Warner of Chicago, IL..

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Manor (1209 21st Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carson Celebration (318 W Pleasant St, Maquoketa, IA 52060). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (875 E Oak St, Monticello, IA 52310).
