She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferrel Sumner and Lula Belle Morley (Parker); her spouse Thomas Russell Slater; and her siblings, Lelan, Marilyn and Roy Morley.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Slater (Cindy) of Moline, Chris Slater (Connie) of Iowa City and Todd Slater (Lisa) of Coal Valley; her grandchildren, Melissa Anderson (Nick), Lauren Dufrene (Matt), Austin Slater (Jessica Willens), Grant Slater (Lexi) and Mason Slater; her great grandchildren, Dexter, Max Anderson, Rosemary Dufrene, Noa and Emmett Slater; and her sister-in-law Janice Morley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Moline Memorial Park (5001 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
