It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon C. Cook of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archibald Clark and Elsie A. Cook (McMichael); his wife Nancy Petersen; his sons, Joel Cook (Tita) and Steven Cook; his grandson Clark Cook; and his brother Glen Cook (Ann). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials preferred to Grace Presbyterian Church, Rock Island.
