We are sad to announce that, on May 29, 2023, at the age of 84, William Long of Rock Island, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Long and Doris Long (Schewe); and his daughters, Paula and Belinda. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Billy Long (Tammy) of Moline, IL, Daniel Long (Joan Murphy) of Aurora, CO, Darin Davis of Silvis, IL and Brett Davis of Rock Island, IL; his grandchildren, Alaina, Brianna, Chelsea, Christine, Ashley, Dylan, Douglas and Brandon; and his siblings, Cindy Laughead of Muscatine, IA and Albert "Bud" Long (Sami) of Rock Island, IL.. He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
