He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jones; his children, Yvonne Brooks (Dennis Drummond), Cynthia Gay, Curtis Brooks (Mildred), Charles Jones (Brenda) and Michael Jones (Tyra); his goddaughter Crystal Parham; and his siblings, Ezelle Holmes (Mary) and Tommie Kirkendoll. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
