It is with sadness that the passing of Alan G. Dahlke of Rockford, Illinois is shared. Alan, born on August 11, 1942, passed away on June 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Clara Dahlke (Erickson); his wife Donna; and his brothers, John and Paul Dahlke (Gerri). He is survived by: his father Elmer Dahlke; his children, Jeff (Rachel), Michael Dahlke (Tara) and Laura Van Natta (Kevin); his grandchildren, Ray, Ryne, Ali (Nick), Sean, Alden and Olivia; and his sister-in-law Ronda Carlson (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Alan would go on to be recognized not once but twice by NASA astronauts for the Silver Snoopy Award; fewer than 1% of the aerospace workforce are recognized annually for their contributions to human flight safety and overall mission success.
