Alex Malenchik Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex Malenchik of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Malenchik and Anne Malenchik; his sister Peggy; and his wife Bonnie Chorley. He is survived by: his children, Mark Malenchik (Christy) and Valerie Christian (George); his granddaughters, Alexandra Lindsey (Adam) and Elizabeth Malenchik (Tamara); his brother Robert Malenchik (Sandy); his nephew Joseph Malenchik (Jaime); and his niece Debra Malenchik.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Alex's honor to the Try-Beta Foundation, 520 Pearl Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111.
