With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Angelo Williams of Rockford, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Angelo left this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid Angelo farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Angelo is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Williams and Dorothy Williams; and his brother Junior Lee Williams. He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Williams, Patricia Cauley (Phillip), Willie Williams Jr., Dale Williams (Isabel) and Bevan Williams; his siblings' children, Lashaunda Walker (Gabriel), Joy Sandifer (Trey) and Sean Williams; and his close friend Leonard Henry. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the E. Ponds Funeral Home (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101).
