He was predeceased by: his son Jason Carlson; his parents, Edward Carlson and Dolly Carlson; and his brother Arden Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Janey Carlson; his children, Todd Edward Carlson and Cari Lynn Johnson (Kelly); his grandchildren, Sammy T. Lenz (Tara) and Cory J. Lenz (Katie); his great grandchildren, Lennox Maeve, Oliver Jason and Paisley Jean; and his sisters, Gloria McMahon (Tom), Linda Brantley (Bill), Carole Moore and Shawn Carlson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
