He is survived by: his close friend Vivian Taylor; his children, Arthur Merritt, Andrew Tess (Laura), Antoine Tempel, Deshawn Hall, April Cauthen (Reginald), Jasmine Graves (Phillip Horton), Noni Graves (Shawn Clark), Antonia Jones (Thomas) and Alexaundria Graves (Amantha Tempel); and his siblings, Hashim Kamau, Gloria Hyatte, Angela Graves (Kevin Ellis), Artina Jewett (Dante Richardson) and Jamila Muhammad. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; a host great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
