With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Audrey L. Egler of Rockford, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Peters and Theresa Peters (Gaydos); her grandson Matthew Egler; and her sister-in-law Maryrita Peters. She is survived by: her former husband Jack Egler; her children, Scott Egler (Lauren) of Elgin, Amy Genis (Bob) of Rockford and Dawn Sandberg (Bob) of Superior, MT; her grandchildren, Michael, Adam, Ashley Egler, Blake and Julian Genis; her brother John Peters; her nieces, Kirstin Dunlop (Jim) and Allison Quinn (Colm); and her nephew Jeremy Peters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Audrey's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Bernadette Catholic Church, or the Rockford Rescue Mission.
