We announce the death of Barbara J. Blakney (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 91. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ashmore and Madeleine Ashmore; her former husband Frank Winans; her husband Roy Blakney; her daughter Sherri Glennon; and her great grandchild Gianna Foti.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Miller (Mark) of Rockford, Tina Davis of Saltillo, Mississippi and Tim Winans (Debbie) of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son-in-law Edward Glennon of Caledonia, Illinois.; and her grandchildren, Ariel Foti (Nick) of Naples, Sierra Domino (Josh) of Belvidere, Kellen Loos of Tupelo, Tara Burgess of Boise, Tim Winans of Fort Pierce and Brandon Loos of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
