We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 86, Barbara Marie Pelan of Rockford, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stankitis and Elizabeth "Elsie" Stankitis; and her sister Dorothy Guy. She is survived by: her children, Dana Pelan (Francine) of Ana, TX, Lisa Baclet (Mitchell) of Ocala, FL, Amy Woods (Larry) of Dekalb, IL, Christine Pelan (Kyle Links) of Springfield, IL and Barbara Pelan of Springfield, IL; her grandchildren, Hillary, Kaitlyn, John, Adam, Jacob, Paul, Dennis (Shannon) and Kinsey; and her sister Marita Brake of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
