He is survived by: his children, Karen Liddell (Patrick) of Rockford, IL and Mike Thomas (Jill) of DeKalb, IL; his stepchildren, Rob Meinholdt (Cece) of Sadler, TX, Beth Meinholdt of Lehigh Acres, FL and Barb Scott of Woodhull, IL; his grandson John Liddell (Molly); his stepchildren, William "Alex" Liddell (Madeleine Fitzgerald), Taylor Thomas (Eddie Harding) and Mitchell Thomas; his stepgrandchildren, Audrey Meinholdt, Bailey Meinholdt and Brianna Meinholdt; his siblings, Frank Thomas (Paula) and Barb Hines (Randy); his siblings' children, Jason Hines (Charitty), Jeff Hines (Joy), Sarah Thomas (Daniel Breyer) and Kim Thomas (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Aoife, Maya and Saoirse.
