It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin J. Rampenthal of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Pam Rampenthal; his grandparents, Keith, Theresa Rampenthal, Gregg Mac Adam and Mae Jacobson; and his uncle Doug Rampenthal.
He is survived by: his parents, Bradley Joseph Rampenthal (Barb) and Paula Kay Mac Adam (late Gary); his son Michael Rampenthal; his siblings, Jeff Rampenthal, Tim Rampenthal (Heather Moon), Jaiden C. Rampenthal, Duffy McGraw, Ed McGraw (Fawn), Amber Vicencio, Monica Bautista (Jorge) and Tiffany Hahn; his aunts, Wendy Gray (Gary), Trudy Clark, Pam Hodge, Kay Elliott (Tim) and Jeanne Walton (Gary); his uncle Jeffrey Mac Adam; his friends, Pete Aelio, Brian Williams, Phil Dunnegan and Blues Transit; and his pet Tom. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
