He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard F. Healy and Kathleen Fleming. He is survived by: his siblings, Joan, Patricia and John; his children, Mary "Eileen" McCarten (Rich), Therese "Tracy" Healy (Greg), Maureen Wirth (Alan), Bernard (Healy III) and Patrick Healy; his grandchildren, Tutu Kane, Ben, Michael, Katie, Grace, Elizabeth, Michelle, Christopher, David, Katherine, Chloe, Liam, Lucie and Milo; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Theodore, Ruby, Eliza, Connor, Owen, Piper, Elliott, Avery, Guinevere and Josephine; his wife Mary Gallagher; and his sister Murna.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61103). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Rockford Country Club (2500 Oxford St, Rockford, IL 61103).
