He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Curtis and Elrena Curtis; and his brother Willie Curtis. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Curtis Barmore, Michelle Croft Finklea, Shawn Curtis (Carrie) and Tony Curtis; his siblings, Linda McDonald, Carolyn Curtis-Bradley (Melvin), Marilyn Turner (Kevin), Michelle Curtis (Scott), Alice Curtis, Merline Love and Wayne Curtis (Julie); his friends, Robbie Peoples, Winston and Bobby Bowden; his brother Robert Peoples; and his aunts, Merline Love, Maurine Fletcher and Gladys Sanders.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (2209 Clifton Ave, Rockford, IL 61102). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
