He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Greenberg and Aufield Greenberg; his sister Karen Johnson; and his granddaughter Jamie King. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Greenberg of Rockford; his children, Gordy Greenberg (Jo Ann) and Debbie Greenberg; and his stepsons, Tom Flygare (Kathy), Jim Flygare (Aracelli) and Dave Flygare (Blanca). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Northern Illinois Hospice in Bruce's honor.
