He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wechter and Helen Wechter (Ruud). He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his children, Linda Simons (Howard), David Wechter (Morgan) and Jennifer Galanos (Greg); his grandchildren, Kyle Simons (Angela), Kaitlyn Simons, Nicholas Galanos, Dylan Galanos (Colleen) and Tyler Galanos; his great grandchild Evalyn Simons; and his brothers, Paul and Richard Wechter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mercy Health Hospice.
