He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Johnson and Clara Johnson (Knutson); his daughter-in-law Heidi Johnson; and his siblings, Mildred, Carleton and Wilbur.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Fagerberg; his children, Cindy Kepner of Plainfield, IL, Jody Vaiarella of Rockford, IL and Joel Johnson of Dousman, WI; his grandchildren, Jennifer White (Rick), Angela Taviani (Tim), Erika Waldeck (Tim), April Vaiarella and Anthony Vaiarella; and his great grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Hailey White, Ava and Reese Taviani. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
