She was predeceased by: her parents, Getrude and Emile; her sisters, Betty Clayborne, Sharon Blackwell and Sandra Blackwell; her sister-in-law Viola Montreuil; her brothers, Wayne Blackwell and Michael Blackwell; her brother-in-law Ernest Landry; her granddaughter Nacarol Smith; and her godson Dorsey Liberty (Keenan Landry).
She is survived by: her caregiver Comfort; her children, Andre Landry, Joseph Landry Jr. (Nicole Robinson), Lakeisha Smith (Larry Smith Jr.), Syreeta Landry-Ballard (Jesse Ballard) and Jermaine Landry; her stepson Terrence Landry; her grandchildren, Kiara Davis, Jasmine Landry, Larry Smith III, Alexia Joiner, Mya Landry, Joseph, Syreeta Landry, Laniya Smith, Zy'Anna Landry and Jah' (Landry); her siblings, Emile Blackwell Jr., Terrell Blackwell, Kevin Blackwell, Larry Blackwell, Darrell Blackwell, Glenn Blackwell, Gregory Blackwell and Jean-Hayes-Franklin (Barney Franklin); and her sister-in-law Thelma Armstrong.
