Cecelia DiTomassi Obituary

We bid farewell to Cecelia DiTomassi of Rockford, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 5, 2026 at the age of 98. Cecelia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Baldassare Gioppo and Catherine Gioppo (Zavagnin); her husband William "Bill" DiTomassi; her son William "Bill" DiTomassi Jr.; her brother Pete Gioppo; her parents-in-law, Ambrose and Lena DiTomassi; her brother Arnold DiTomassi; her sister-in-law Alda DiTomassi; and her niece Susan DiTomassi.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Smith; her grandchildren, Elisa Horner (Ben) and Robert DiTomassi (Michael); and her great grandchild Isla Horner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
