With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlotte L. Lasley of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dortch Yates and Leona Yates (Hill); her husband Murel Lasley; her son Denvis Lasley; her grandchildren, Dane Lasley and Connor Lasley; and her brothers, Donald Yates and JD Yates.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Lasley (Tina) and Damon Lasley (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Cain Cherry, Dylan Lasley, Cyrena Lasley and Caleb Lasley; her great grandchildren, Riley Lasley, Gavin Lasley, Donovan Lasley, Bastion Lasley and Oswin Lasley; and her siblings, Jerry Yates, Thelma Stanfill and Doris Clements. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
