She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark E. Ottenberg and Zetta A. Ottenberg (Hixson); her brother Elwyn Ottenberg; and her brother-in-law Nick Messersmith. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Brown; her sons, Ryan Brown (Tina) and Ian Brown (Robyn); her grandchildren, Thatcher, Cora, Piper, Quinn and Lucy; and her sister Peggy Messersmith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Christian Church.
