He was predeceased by: his parents, John Darby and Anna Darby (Sigmann); and his sister Linda Brien. He is survived by: his son Jessee Darby of Rockford; his granddaughter Elonnie Darby; and his siblings, Jerry Darby (Anne) of Melbourne, Diane Johnson (Steve) of Belvidere and Charles Darby of Rockford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
