She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smallwood and Bonnie Smallwood; and her siblings, Pamela Peacock and Eddie Smallwood. She is survived by: her husband Michael Slechta; her children, Hollie Ahmer (Erik) and Crystal Anderson (Brandon); her stepson Aarron Slechta; her grandchildren, Ashley Slechta, Abby Slechta, Klaudia Maynard (JT), Alex Slechta, Gavin Ahmer and Kaylee Anderson; and her brothers, Tony Smallwood (Glenda) and Gregory Scott Smallwood (Cindy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand pets.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
