Hawkins and Margaret (Lewis) Hawkins; wife: Sandra (DeMoss) Sjostrom; late wife: Sandi (Ingraham) Hawkins; sister: Susie "Bernie" Buckley; daughters: Lisa (Jim) Hatch and Amy (Michael) Newton; sons: Darin Hawkins, Bill (Nancy) Heaton, Howie (Val) Heaton; niece: Loren (Randy) Crawford; great-nephew: James; grandsons: Ryan (Alyssa) Bates, Corey Bates, Sawyer Newton, Beckett Newton, Liam Heaton; granddaughters: Megan (Collin) Libassi, Katie Heaton, Molly Heaton, Rylee Kennington; great-grandchildren: Aidyn, Nixon, Ellie, Samuel and Eli; as well as countless cherished extended family members, friends, and 1959 classmates.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2821 N Bell School Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
