With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan R. Schafman (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Dan's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Dan's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schafman and Esther Schafman (Behling); and his brothers, Clarence, Richard (Cora) and Roger Schafman (Beverly).
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Weber (Kevin); his wife Nancy Stoelting; his granddaughter Kailee; and his sisters-in-law, Esther Schafman and Peggy Hensley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, an organization that was close to Dan's heart.
