He is survived by: his son Dan; his wife Kirby Johnson; his children, Hilary Hofstetter (Tom) and Brian (Darla); his grandchildren, Jacob Hofstetter, Paige Hofstetter and Emma Doyle; his stepgrandsons, Nathan and Jonah; his sisters-in-law, Carla James, Carolyn Johnson and Judy Johnson; and his nieces, Sarah Schlegel (Tim) and Kim Spaw (Randy).
