He is survived by: his children, Ayesha Thomas, Darrell Turner and Brandon Rice; and his siblings, Deborah, Denise, Stephanie Sanders, Sonya Burks, Roderick Sanders and Cedric Sanders. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
