He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew A. Guler and Florence R. C. Guler (Nelson); his brother-in-law Clarence Freburg; and his parents-in-law, Thelma and Otto Van Vuren.
He is survived by: his wife Rheba A. Van Vuren; his children, Dana Kropke (Sean) and Andrew Guler (Hilary); his grandchild Thema Joy Guler; and his siblings, Dyvone Freburg, Danita Johnson (John) and Darrel Guler (Vicki). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
