He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Abney and Ida Abney (Jones); and his siblings, Yolanda Weisensel and Kenneth Ray Abney, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife LaNor "Punkie" Preston; his children, Terri Clarke of Rockford, IL and Tim Abney (Kim) of South Wayne, WI; and his grandchildren, Brodie, Braden (Abby), Bailey, Ryleigh and Tyler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established in Dave's name and may be directed to his family.
