It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Allen of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce A. Allen and Marie I. Allen (Hamilton); his wife Patricia A. Allen; and his siblings, Elizabeth Sundberg and Donald Allen.
He is survived by: his daughter Alice; his grandchildren, David Larson, Kirsten Larson, Anna Wingler (Dylan) and Royce Blackshear; and his siblings, Richard Allen and Barbara Franke (Dennis).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice, 4751 Harrison Avenue, Rockford, IL 61108.
