He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett C. Allison and Ethel R. Allison (Hoffman); his wife Jane Allison; his son Morris "Buddy" Nelson; and his siblings, Donald Allison, Rosie Hill, Charles Allison, Faye Allison, Ronnie Allison, Billy Allison and Virgil Allison.
He is survived by: his children, David Allison (Mariah) of Carson City, Navada, Angela Nelson (Brittany Schamell) of Rockford, Lynn Montoya (Jamie) of Rockford, Sherri Jones (Tracy) of Davis Junction and John White of Bell, Missouri; his grandchildren, Avalon, Raistlin, Alleria Allison and Blake Nelson (Kylee); his great grandchild Wrenley Nelson; his grandchildren, Journie Nelson (Colton Thomas), Dalen Nelson, Zyriah Allison, Zeveah, Zendaya Montoya, Scotty, Samantha, Cherokee Thompson and Courtney Beksel (Marcus); and his brother Jerry Allison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Three Oaks Chapel (1100 N Lyford Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Milford Cemetery (1878 New Milford School Rd, Rockford, IL 61109).
Graveside service at New Milford Cemetery, Rockford, will take place at 1 p.m. Memorials can be made to the family.
