He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. A. J. Johnson and Ida A. Johnson; and his siblings, Anne, Linnea, Pauline, Carole, Miriam, Alan and Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann F. Johnson (Magaraci); his children, Jeffrey David Johnson, Laura Christine Johnson and Julia Maria Johnson-Baer (Michael); his granddaughter Emily Ann Johnson; and his brother Joel Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like contributions made to St. Mark Lutheran Church.
