As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest L. Smith and Elizabeth Smith (Rasmussen). He is survived by: his wife Idalla Rogers (Rockford); his sons, Jeffrey Smith (Fabienne) and Steven Smith (Violet); and his grandchildren, Makayla Smith, Adam Smith, Abbie Yaeger, Melanie Prada and Agnes Prada.
