He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Solverson and Marjorie Solverson (Stilwell); his father-in-law Cecil Parsons; his sister-in-law Patti Lautenschlager; his father-in-law John Hutchison; and his nephew Nicholas Glynn.
He is survived by: his wife Pam; his sons, Jon (Clara) of Lena, Eric (Bailey) of Waunakee, WI and David of Rockford; his grandchildren, Addie, Rowan, Eliza, Douglas, Jacob, Emma, Bode and Sanni Solverson; his son Bode; the parent of his children Beka Fritz; his siblings, Steve Solverson (Maureen), Alan Solverson (Char), Charlie Solverson, Kathy Johnson (Steve), Lisa Glynn (Paul) and Crystal Taylor (Jeff); his sister-in-law Pat Bondick (Mike); and his mother-in-law Blanche Hutchison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's honor to the Carpenters Local 792 Golden Hammer Award (checks payable to Carpenters Local 792, memo: Golden Hammer Award) or to the Northwestern Illinois Building Trades Blais Family Scholarship through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.
