He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bloomstrand of Princeton; his children, Kent Bloomstrand (Mary Costello) of Shepherdstown and Karyn Bloomstrand of Rockford; his granddaughters, Candace Higgins (James) of Boston, Magdalene Matsas (Paul) of Chicago, Shannan Bloomstrand (Avery Polchinski) of Temple and Kaitlyn Wheeler (Robert) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Audrey Higgins, Gloria Matsas and Oaklee Wheeler; and his brother Jerry Bloomstrand (Grace) of Chicago, IL..
