He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Daneels and Marian J. Daneels (Olsen); his sister Mary Lynn Flood; and his aunt Florence "Bebe" Culhane. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie K. Hayward; his children, Mary Ellen Daneels, Anne Marie Smith and Peter Joseph Daneels (Alice); and his grandchildren, Alex Smith (Sydnie), Jacob Smith (Emily), Jessica Smith, Alaina Houha (Nathan), Josiah Daneels and Ezekiel Daneels.
