With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. Wallgren (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on October 18, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Elmer Wallgren and Anna Wallgren; his wife Maryella Wallgren (Elsie); his siblings, Willard and Barbara Magill; and his son David Duane.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Scott Day of South Bend, IN, Steven Wallgren of Machesney Park, Ronald Wallgren (Angela) of Machesney Park and Rebecca Wallgren of Rockford. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
