We are sad to announce that, on March 12, 2023, at the age of 83, Doris Ann DeVries of Rockford, Illinois, born in Charles City, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Henry and Gertrude Henry; her sister Shirley Neff; and her brother-in-law Dennis DeVries. She is survived by: her husband Harold DeVries (Butch); her daughters, Vicki Middleton and Linda Childers; her grandchildren, Samantha Middleton, Nate Childers (Sarah) and Zac Childers (Amanda); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kennedy and Audrey; her siblings-in-law, Martin Neff, Roger DeVries and Donna DeVries; and her nieces and nephews, Jerry, Susan, Pam, Troy, Michael and Sandy.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Cherry Valley United Methodist Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
