It is with sadness that the passing of Doris A. Chambers in Rockford, Illinois is shared. Doris, born on August 4, 1943, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval and Armella Sammons (Vondra); her close friend Leo Brokish; her husband Wally; and her brothers, Dennis and Jeff Sammons.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Isely (Chuck) and Larry Chambers (Sue); her grandchildren, Daniel Isely, Christian Isely (Liz Schulz), Kaitlyn Chambers (Juan Pablo Romano), Jacob Chambers (Rachel Baird) and Owen Chambers (Paige Matthews); her siblings, Dick Sammons (Rose) and Ellen; and her close friend Daisy Reese. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
