It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dot Opperman of Rockford, Illinois, born in Arab, Alabama, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her sister Sue; and her sister-in-law Donna. She is survived by: her sons, Jay (Suzanne) of Wauconda, IL and Jon (Mary White) of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, Shaun (Sara), Josh, Fallon, Jamie (Adeline), Missy (Rich), Jacob, Emily (Tyler), Joseph, Niko and Katherine; her great grandchildren, London, Lana, Chandler, Sadie, Riley and Benjamin; and her sister Irene. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
