He is survived by: his friends, Denny Johnson and Lew; his close friend Frank Holmes; his children, Thomas R. Gustafson and Cynthia Benson (Tom); his grandchildren, Kasey Smith (Jake), Jared Benson (Hannah), Ryan Gustafson and Amanda Gustafson; his great grandchildren, Annabeth and Fiona; his nieces and nephews, Scott Sodergren (Mel), Julie Johnson (Craig), Jill Vails (Terry), Mike Gustafson and Dawn Bauman (Carl); the mother of his children Bev Dahlgren; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Sodergren and Nancy Gustafson; Holmes-Gustafson.
