He was predeceased by: his son Thomas Short (Kathy); and his sister Audrey Higgison. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his brother Burdett Short (Judi); and his children, Kim Anderson (Duane), Pam Reese (Geoff) and Mike Short (Mindy). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
