He was predeceased by: his parents, Veo Veitch and Ada Veitch (Wysong); his daughter Maria Rogers; and his siblings, Jimmy, Tuffy, Billy, Lawrence Veitch, Cathy and Gloria Veitch.

He is survived by: his wife Debra L. Veitch (Bull); his children, Lillian Smith and John Woodford; his adoptive son Joe Weeks; his grandchildren, Honesty Woodford, Taylor, Edgar, Donelle Smith, Andrew, Alex Rogers, Kyra, Holly Sparks and Alexis Williams; his great grandchildren, Adyen, True, Bryson, Kaydin and Luciana; his siblings, Gary, John Veitch (late Jackie), Cindy Veitch and David Veitch (Diane); his sister-in-law Betty Veitch; and his friend Bill Collins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
