It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Pecina of Rockford, Illinois, born in Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie J. Owens and Catherine E. Owens (Allen). She is survived by: her daughter LeeAnn Kucej (Joseph) of Milwaukee, WI; her fiancé Malcolm Aylward of Loves Park, IL; her brother John Owens (Felicia) of Sycamore, IL; her cousins, Marsha Owens of Springfield, IL and Teresa Tishler (Jerry) of Springfield, IL; and her half-brother Patrick Cain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
