She was predeceased by: her parents, Sever Sr. Scott and Lydia Scott; her spouse Odell Prewitt; her daughter Carolyn Elliott; her siblings, Barbara Jean Scott, Willie Wiley Scott, Clarence Scott, Sever Scott Jr. and Milton Scott; and her son-in-law Ray Adams Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Fredrick Sr. Prewitt (Demetrus), Donna Brooker (Robert) and Brenda Adams; and her siblings, Sammie Scott (Annie) and Mildred Bryson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
