He is survived by: his children, Tracy Stroyan-Maynard (Larry) of Paxton, IL and Eric Stroyan (Darla) of Cross Timbers, MO; the mother of his children Alta Stroyan of Paxton, IL.; his grandchildren, Jori Brown (Zach) of Normal, IL, Kellyn Maynard of Scottsdale, AZ, Emma Mason (Brendon) of Pratt, KS, Ethan Stroyan of Hays, KS and Ella Stroyan of Hays, KS; his great grandchildren, Zolen, Jorden and Brynne Brown; and his brother Richard Stroyan (Missi) of Bloomington, IL..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church (370 Wiley Ave, Paw Paw, IL 61353). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gene's memory may be directed to the Paw Paw United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
