He is survived by: his wife Susan Hickey (Stephens); his children, Evaristo S. Gutierrez, IV (Sonny) of Tokyo, Dustin Gutierrez (Kimberly) of Davis Junction, IL, Lisa Hickman (Chris) of Loves Park, IL and Phillip Hickey of Machesney Park, IL; his grandchildren, Ashton (Joey), Keibu, Brenna, Blake, Brooke, Bella and Emmy; his siblings, Chris Martinez (Diana) of Rockford, IL, Joe Samaniego of Rockford, IL, Amada Villarreal (Tony) of San Antonio, TX and Adrian Samaniego (Kathy) of Temple, TX; his siblings-in-law, Marcia Samaniego of Piggot, AR and Terry Stephens (Sherry Holder) of Rockford, IL; his aunt Juana Vinton (Juan) of Seguin, TX; and his daughter Pam Gutierrez (Loveland) of Rockford, IL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins and friends; Mother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be used in Buddy's name at a later date.
